Here's Barry...

Meet Barry, our newest arrival.

  1. Barry is apparently a neighborhood dog but was clearly abandoned in close proximity to the Shelter. Barry was found with baling twine for a collar and leash tied to a tree within view of the shelter.

Barry brings with him the usual tick and flea infestation along with a deep cut on the underside of his neck from pulling against a collar - either twine or wire. He is receiving medication, and other remedies as prescribed by our Medico Oscar and President Gerardo. He is expected to fully recover from what ails him and will soon be ready for adoption. It is our policy to keep a dog at the shelter for a minimum of 10 days (longer depending on his/her condition) before making them available for adoption. Stay tuned.
