Update on Sasha

This resident came in severely anemic, emaciated, and riddled with ticks.
Now look at her. 1000% better!

Who we are...

We are dedicated to providing a much needed service to the community. Our goal is to create an environment free of homeless dogs and cats.

Our primary mission is to act as a refuge for homeless animals. We accept animals during working hours, however, we reserve the right to refuse any animal that we cannot properly care for. This would include space available, temperament of the animal, medical condition of the animal or suspicious circumstances surrounding the reasons for the animal being brought in. We make our best effort to adopt the animals we receive into an appropriate home. We will treat homeless, sick and injured animals if we feel their prognosis is good. We consider ourselves a No-Kill animal shelter.

Our focus is to promote the humane treatment of domestic animals through education, pet population control (spay/neuter), rescue and adoption. We have designed a successful catch, spay/neuter, release program for feral cats.

We are a non-profit organization that operates from donations, adoptions and fundraisers. A little compassion goes a long way when it comes to helping an animal in need and this is where you come in!

The animals in our care need 'forever' families. We also need people from our community to volunteer at the shelter, or help with our foster care program.

Please get to know us, and help with this very important cause. The homeless animals of Mazatlan are counting on it!
