We have 2 of these darling PUPPIES!  This little boy in front is a Chihuahua mix and will be small.

Solita, is a loving female as you can see, she is about 2 years old.

Misty is close to one year old but acts like a puppy. She is full of energy and loves to play. 

These kittens are ready for a their furever home, one is male and one female.  They are about 3 months old.

BanDam getting walked by one of our wonderful volunteers.  Gentle 3 year old Pitbull mix. Very lovable, loves walks and really loves back rubs.

Patsy, is our blind girl.  She is sweet and lovable, but she needs a special home,  probably with no young children.  She is approximately 3-4 years old

2016 Annual Champagne Brunch

We are excited to announce the date and location of our Annual Brunch!  This year it is BEFORE SuperBowl, January 31st at the Agua Marina Hotel.  If you purchase your tickets before December 31st, the cost is $370 pesos; after that the price is $400 pesos.  Want some?  Call us and we can tell you who in your area has them for sale.  Phone # 669-986-42-35  Tickets are also available at the shelter, so stop in for a chance to see our animals and chat with Mariel.

If you just cannot attend, please consider making a donation to us.  100% of our donations go to house, feed and keep our little buddies healthy.  You can donate via PayPal (you don't need a PayPal account) by clicking the DONATE button; or send a check to BMO Harris Bank (address on this page).

As always, we appreciate each one of you for helping these amazingly loving animals!!  They send licks and purrs.

Annual Champagne Brunch

What a great turnout for our annual Champagne Brunch fundraiser.  With nearly 300 people in attendance we were packed with great folks eating, drinking and supporting ADLA with their silent auction purchases, raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets and more.

Thanks are in order to the staff at the El Cid Marina - the food was great and the champagne was flowing all during the event.  Service was first class.

The location turned out to be a crowd pleasing favorite with every table having a great view of the ocean and the marina.

This year was perhaps our best brunch ever and thanks to our supporters in attendance we will be able to survive those long dry summer months.  A big Thank you to everyone of you that attended.

Let's also give a huge note of appreciation to the committee of volunteers that gave generously of their time and talent to make this event the success that it was.  It is a dangerous thing to start listing names and then omitting someone, but those that volunteered know who you are and how much we appreciated your efforts.

All in all a super event!

Motorized wheelchair/scooter - probably needs a new battery.  Come by and give it a sit.

Tickets are only $400 pesos and can be purchased at the Shelter, or contact any of us on this blog or our Facebook pages for info on how to get yours!

We have golf clubs!

At the bazaar on the second floor of the Amigos de los Animales animal shelter, we have at least four sets of golf clubs for sale for cheap, CHEAP prices.  There is a nice Calloway golf bag and the golf club brands include Hogan, Ping, Spaulding, MacGregor,  Arnold Palmer and several others.  There is even a set of clubs for children or a smaller person.

Come by any day except Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to find the club or set of clubs that will enhance your game.

While you are there, please remember to purchase your tickets for the Champagne Brunch fund raiser that will be held at the Marina El Cid Events Center on Sunday, January 25th.  This year we are offering an Early Bird Special - the first 100 tickets purchased prior to December 1, 2014, will be available for $350 pesos.  The remaining 200 tickets for the event will be available for $400 pesos.  To qualify for the Early Bird Special you must pay for your ticket prior to the cutoff date.  Purchase early and save an extra $50 pesos.

Mazatlan's talented Lori Davidson will be entertaining us with her special brand of music for your listening enjoyment.

This annual event, now at a stunning new location, is not to be missed.  Much more than an ordinary brunch, our event features unlimited champagne, a "not so silent" auction with dozens of items to bid on.  Additionally there will be raffle baskets and 50/50's so don't forget to mark this event on your calendar and make plans to attend one of Mazatlan's most popular events.  All proceeds benefit Amigos de los Animales, Mazatlan's Humane Society.
