This "Sasha", a 4 - 6 month old mixed breed puppy. She was brought in
by a friend of ADLA that found her cowering under a car, and had a long
rope tied to her neck. As you can see, she is severely dehydrated,
malnourished , anemic from the massive tick infestation, and has an
infection in her eyes.We have since given her an antibiotic regimen to help with tick-bourne disease, nutritional therapy to help her gain weight and heal, fluid therapy to assist with dehydration, and she is on ophthalmic medications to help with her eye infection.
